Since minerals are inert, you never have to worry about them spoiling, separating or getting a funky smell.

I had used mineral makeup in the past – you know those commercials on late at night for that certain bare brand? I have rosacea and I bought into it when they showed how easily it covered the model’s redness. However, the moment I put it on my face, my skin was itchy, dry, red and irritated. Come to find out later, it’s the fillers they use that are very irritating on even normal skin.

So of course when I tried Natural Beauty mineral makeup I was waiting for my skin to react. And it didn’t! I’ve been using “Neutrala” mineral foundation for a month now and I just love it.

There are 19 different shades of mineral foundation to choose from. If your skin is in between two shades, Shelli can even customize a foundation that will suit your skin tone perfectly.

I tried a little bit of everything from Natural Beauty’s cosmetic line. One of my favorites was the blush. My cheeks had that glowy, dewy sheen that I could never manage to pull off with my other blushes. In this picture I’m wearing “Neutral Pink“ blush, “Neutrala” mineral foundation and “Moss Matte” eyeshadow. You’d never know I have rosacea…it’s covered perfectly even though this is a “sheer” makeup. Normally I steer clear of anything sheer because I have to cake it on to cover my redness. Since I like heavier eye makeup, I love the fact that you can make mineral eyeshadow as sheer or as opaque as you want. If you apply it dry, you’ll have a nice sheer color, but if you add a teeny bit of water to your brush you’ll have a more dramatic look.
