It’s not hard to get lost in the day to day life with a toddler who takes you to your breaking point on a weekly basis. But we have to remember as parents we’re responsible for building their spirit…and unfortunately breaking it. I was at the grocery store tonight and it broke my heart to see a mom swat away her little boy’s castle {which was really just a bunch of food boxes like cereal and granola bars stacked up to make a huge tower} and tell him to “STOP! Grow up!”. And my Aidan, without missing a beat, repeated her words. “STOP!!!” with a scowl on his face like the mom had on as she walked up the aisle. Great. I want Aidan to be a little Einstein the old fashioned way – with crayons put to construction paper and by counting the ants on the sidewalk. For review, we chose the “imagine” tee for Aidan. As I mentioned above, the material is sooo soooo soft. Definitely up there on my list of best organic cottons that I’ve reviewed! The sizing is true to size with room to grow. We choose 18-24 months and I was worried it would be too small since Aidan wears a 2T and 3T now, but it fit perfectly! Squishy Fish tees are not cheap, thin, boxy tees that shrink up to nothing the first time they’re washed. We experienced minimal shrinkage {if any!} and the length in the sleeves and waist was untouched.
