BumbleWee Nursing Wear is an online boutique for fashionable moms who want functional, stylish nursing and maternity clothing.Â BumbleWee is in the business of making moms beautiful when they’re not exactly feeling their best. After 5 hours of broken sleep {if that!} it’s really hard to get up, showered and ready to go for the day. All we want to do is crawl into comfy sweats and hope nobody comes to the door. Which is totally fine some days of the week – we all need to grub around sometimes. But when we’re out on playdates, doing grocery runs, juggling a newborn and a toddler at the doctor’s office, we need that little boost of confidence in our appearance to help put that little spring back in our step.

Maybe you’re lucky enough to have all of the above and you’re having the best mommie day of our life! {if so, I’m jealous!}Â But for me, especially in those early nursing days, it was when I put onÂ something nice to wear that was functional AND stylish, that gave me that kickstart to my day. There is nothing more frustrating when you’re out in public and you’re fooling around with your top trying to hold it in the right position while attempting to latch the baby to stop them from crying. To me, having a functioning nursing top, dress, tank, whatever the case, was worth the money because it was one less thing to worry about in my life as a new breastfeeding mommie.

Now, before you all get images of boxy nursing tees and pointy coned nursing bras in your head…let me show you some of the clothing that is now available for modern, nursing mommies. This top below is my favorite from BumbleWee. It’s a 2in1 maternity AND nursing top that is the cutest I’ve come across yet!

This top would be so adorable with a preggy belly, but also a really nice top to have while nursing. It wouldn’t be tight on your {shrinking} belly and if it was chilly, you could layer with a thin cardigan.

If you’ve been pregnant and invited to a wedding or event, you all know how difficult it is to find somethingÂ that makes you feel sexy and pretty. I wish I knew of this dress all those times! This Anna Jane Dress is also 2in1 so it can be worn during pregnancy and nursing. It’s a cotton blend made without the use of pesticides and chemicals and also has a touch of modal and spandex to keep you comfy. Beautiful!

And for running around with the children, pair this comfy henley with a necklace, jeans and flats and you’re ready to go for the day. The button down neck pulls across and has a hidden second layer that keeps you covered while nursing. Love this!

It’s really tempting to get back into your pre-pregnancy clothing after you have the baby, but you’re better off keeping them packed away for a little while and investing in some nice nursing tops for yourself. To save money, look for 2in1 items like many of the ones that BumbleWee carries so you can make use of them in your wardrobe for longer. Those are the types of pieces to invest in.
