What’s in that shower gel you use every morning? Does your lipstick really contain lead? Should you be suspicious of “natural” cosmetics? The composition of beauty products has given rise to many concerns over the last few years. Do we need to be afraid of our creams and lotions? Is this just chemical phobia or a real concern? The risks linked to the use of cosmetics unleash passions and controversy. Caught between the desire for beauty and the fear of being sickened, we no longer know what to think, or whom to believe.

About Amanda

I'm Amanda. I started Natural Mommie in 2009 and have been turning mommies from eco-weak to eco-chic ever since! Having an intense addiction to sparkly pink strawberry flavored lipgloss and never claiming to be perfectly green I vowed to not give up my hip mama self once I became a mom and wanted to bring a little more organic into my life. My closet still isn’t full of organic cotton and bamboo, but it’s getting there!
