In the middle of chaos, moving, unpacking, organizing, cleaning and trying to get life back to normal, I wonder if Ethan knows that I feel as much comfort as he does while we’re swaying and holding each other tight. It’s in these quiet moments that makes me feel so grateful to be a mommie to two amazing little boys.

About Amanda

I'm Amanda. I started Natural Mommie in 2009 and have been turning mommies from eco-weak to eco-chic ever since! Having an intense addiction to sparkly pink strawberry flavored lipgloss and never claiming to be perfectly green I vowed to not give up my hip mama self once I became a mom and wanted to bring a little more organic into my life. My closet still isn’t full of organic cotton and bamboo, but it’s getting there!

OMG he is SO BIG esp in that last picture!! How can you hold him for long, lol?!

He does look pretty big in the pics doesn’t he?! About 2 weeks ago {whenever it was that we got stung by the bees} they weighed him at the hospital and he was 21lbs. That seems normal to me LOL but maybe that’s big for 9 months old?

  2. This is beautiful! :) How do you get your hair looking that nice? lol

    • amanda says:

LOL thanks Lindsey! I curl it with a flat iron and this was at midnight after a full day of wear. Surprised it held for so long…I’ll be posting about the flat iron I used in a little bit!

    Absolutely precious Amanda!!

  4. Stacey says:

Awww, those are precious pictures! 21lbs is pretty big for a nine month old, I think, since Ashlyn is the same weight and almost 16 months :) I hope the move back has gone fairly smoothly for you!

    • amanda says:

K, yep I guess that is big for 9 months! Feels normal to me since I’m used to big babies!

Move went well but slow to get things sorted out. Can only do so much with children around. You know how it goes ;)

  5. Sarah says:

Too cute! My 3.5 yr old is 29 lbs, and my 2 yo is 27 lbs. My 2 yo boy loves to be rocked, and I have trouble holding him for too long!

    • amanda says:

Aidan is 2 years 9 months and he’s 35lbs and 3 foot 2. I kind of wished he wanted to be rocked like your little guy but he’s so big, we’d have to take turns rocking each other LOL

  6. Amy says:

That is so nice :) He wont be able to understand it until he is a parent himself- but it is so true!

  7. Elizabeth says:

So cute! My little guy was 21lbs at 9 months, so it doesn’t seem so big to me :)
