Natura is a company that I’ve enjoyed getting to know since 2009 when I did my first review and giveaway for them a year ago! I was hugely pregnant, achy, not sleeping well {a given, I know} and when I received a Natura bedding set to try out, I was in heaven. Soft, cozy and comfy don’t even begin to describe how Natura bedding feels when you try it for the first time. During my review I mentioned that if I knew about Natura before my wedding, I would have added it to my wedding registry! It’s that lovely. The faces behind Natura are just as pleasant too. They’re Canadian, down to earth, professional to work with both as a customer and on a business level but like to have fun at the same time. Most importantly they care about their customers and want nothing but the best zzz’s {pets included!}.

A healthy life starts with a healthy sleep. Did you  know that we spend on average about 20 years in bed over our lifetime? When we’re born, we’re wired for about 18-20 hours of sleep a day but as we age and life catches up with us in the form of deadlines and schedules and then before we know it, we’re in a horrible rut of being tired but not able to fall asleep, waking often, tossing and turning, etc.

Healthy sleep isn’t just about having a comfy mattress..it’s the whole package from your pillow cases right down to your mattress pad. Natura is dedicated to improving the quality of sleep for every member of the family with healthy products made from natural fibers such as wool and organic cotton. For review, Aidan received a sleep envelope and organic cotton sheets to try out on his bed. I was thrilled because I know how comfy my husband and I are with our wool bedding! We received Aidan’s set a few months back and he seems to be enjoying it and is having good sleeps . One thing I know he appreciates is not getting up in the middle of the night to strip down from being too hot, then waking up again from being  too cold. The wool truly does regulate the temperature and allow my little furnace to be comfy and warm and not clammy and cold. The set he received is their new washable wool called Smart Wash Wool. It still has the comfort, breathability and moisture wicking properties that our set has and is ideal for a toddler or young child who might still have accidents or leaky sippy cups in bed with them.

I’ve washed the mattress pad about 5-6 times now and it’s held up beautifully.  It takes quite a while to dry on low since it’s thick so I usually dry it about 75% in the dryer then lay it out for a day to air dry the rest. The wool comforter takes less time since it’s lighter weight than the mattress pad. It washes up really nicely as well but I try to reduce the number of washes I have to do by using a cotton duvet cover.

Natura also included a set of organic sheets that are some of the softest, silkiest sheets I’ve felt! They’re for Aidan’s double bed but if we didn’t have a king size, I would have scooped them up in a heartbeat! They’re almost too luxurious for a toddler to enjoy!! Lucky little boy.

All in all, I’m very happy my little man has a comfy place to cuddle up into at night when he’s not sneaking in with us  :)
