in the kitchen: easy, kid-friendly watermelon salad

A sort of odd combination of ingredients but somehow they all work beautifully together to make a fresh, flavorful, perfect summer salad. It’s a favorite of mine, my husbands AND my boys! I can never seem to make enough and forget about keeping any extra in the fridge!

– watermelon

– feta cheese

– balsamic vinegar

– fresh ground pepper

Cube watermelon, crumbled feta cheese on top, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and top with fresh ground pepper. Done and delish.

  1. I’ve made a similar salad before – but I also add some cucumber. AMAZING! :-)
