My husband shakes his head when I bring home another grungy old lamp, but how can I not when repainting a lamp is sooo easy! You’ve all seen these ones right? They’re everywhere…grandma’s house, the goodwill, value village, garage sales..that iconic dusty rose and brass lamp. It’s not the prettiest to start with but she’s got good curves so it’s easy to bring her back to life with some glossy spray paint.

Wiped it down…

added 2 coats of spray paint…

 I love the glossy white Rustoleum primer + paint in 1  since you don’t have to worry about doing a separate primer coat first. The easier the better ;)

    Wow – awesome! So I’m always swamped in about a zillion DIY projects… but this looks so fast that I would assuredly get it done – that’s like a 1 hour project and looks fabulous! You have me thinking about all the brass ceiling light fixtures at the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store now too…. hmmm….. I see lamps in my future!

      Definitely give it a go! I’m usually done 2 lamps in under a half hour (not including shopping for new shades obviously!) which is the best part! I’m always on the hunt for stuff like this!

      Thanks Soozie! So simple and I LOVE that I can easily change it up when I’m bored. Wouldn’t feel the same if I forked over $75 for just 1 lamp!

    I love how simple and easy it was to give that lamp a face lift :)

    I’m currently working on a mode podge picture frame for my boyfriend and my anniversary this Friday; I forgot how much I love being crafty!
