One month ago my husband and I were going through some boxes we hadn’t unpacked from our move and we came across “the bag”. This oversized ziploc bag had been following us around each and every time we moved over the past 6 years. It’s filled with wires, cords, cables – none of which we know which electronic they belong to. We were hanging on to it just in case. To be completely honest, when we were car seat shopping for Aidan and Ethan when they were ready to transition from an infant car seat to a convertible, we didn’t go with Britax. Why? We thought that car seats were pretty much all made the same except some came with cushier seats and cup holders and with that a heftier price tag. Now I know how far from the the truth that is. There is a reason why Britax is the leader when it comes to car seat safety – they engineer for safety. They are truly as safe as they can be, especially when it comes to taking care of little heads.
I don’t want to sound like Debbie Downer over the holidays, but head injury in car crashes is the leading cause of death in children aged 0-12. So, knowing this, Britax completely re-designed their entire line of convertible car seats and concentrated on keeping heads safe.
