I was just watching wife swap or trading spouses - one of those shows and one of the moms was totally okay with everyone wearing their shoes in the house. The other was not. So I was thinking about a conversation I was having with a friend one time about how maybe wearing shoes in US homes is more likely than in Canadian homes purely based on what we see on TV {scientific, right?}
